Join Jewtina y Co. and Mitsui Collective for a truly one-of-a-kind Jewish exploration of place, community, and identity across the global Jewish diaspora through the context of five incredible days immersed in the unique beauty, culture, ecology, and history of El Salvador.
A Fully Embodied Experience
Designed and facilitated in full collaboration by Jewtina y Co. and Mitsui Collective, this unique program will center the multiracial, multiethnic, and multicultural experience of the global Jewish diaspora.
With deep encounter of El Salvador as the backdrop, we'll guide you both in the exploration of the particular places and communities of El Salvador we'll visit, as well as through your own exploration of personal and ancestral lineage, rootedness, and connection. You'll learn and experience a deep taste of what makes El Salvador amazing — and you'll also reveal and deepen the beauty of your own identities and lineage in all the ways that those inform and intersect with your Jewishness.
Along the way, we'll build community with our fellow sojourners as a micro-reflection of the many Jewish communities we're a part of building and sustaining back home, wherever home may be.

Balancé Yoga Retreat center is nestled into an estuary that faces the Pacific Ocean in the Salvadoran surf getaway, Playa El Tunco, also known as Surf City. Complete with waterfront views, Balancé has everything you could desire: a salt water pool and lounge area, organic kitchen café, cozy spaces to relax or journal and an abundance of nature all around you.
